San Diego Iron Gates is proud to offer an elegant selection of powder coating colors to our customers. All metal is hand-forged and customized to each client’s taste and design selection. Then all the hand-forged pieces go through a process called sand-blasting which brings the iron into a state of “pure metal”, then are sprayed with a Zinc primer for “rust protection”.  Now, all the pieces are ready for powder coating in high temperature ovens which will give them final great finish.  We highly recommend that all the iron work to be hot-dip galvanized. This process takes longer but, the result is forged iron work which is rust-resistant and virtually maintenance-free, saving our clients time and money.

Rust Disclaimer: Some minor weeping of rust from tiny crevices not reached by the molten zinc or powder coat finish is normal and may occur after a rain. Such rust is not structurally damaging and may be controlled by the application of silicone caulk.

All gates and fence come with a full 90 days warranty against manufacturer defects. In the event that you discover a defect, we will provide a replacement.
